2026 Sakaide Ohashi Matsuri Offshore Fireworks Festival: A Full-Day Course
Centered on the Sakaide Ohashi Matsuri Offshore Fireworks Festival held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 (a public holiday), this is a full-day course to enjoy the Sakaide and Marugame area from afternoon onward. In the afternoon, take in the Seto Inland Sea scenery at Seto Ohashi Memorial Park, then visit the historic Marugame Castle. In the evening, fill up on Sanuki udon for dinner in central Sakaide. Once night falls, head to the Sakaide Port Central Pier to watch around 5,000 offshore fireworks shells burst over the night sky of the Seto Inland Sea up close.
