2026 Miya River Wataraipark Playground Water Pool 1-Day Experience Course
A full-day course centered on "Miya River Wataraipark Playground Water Pool," an outdoor leisure pool in Wataraicho, Mie Prefecture, operating from July 18 (Saturday) to September 6 (Sunday) 2026, 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. In the morning, visit the Outer Shrine of Ise Grand Shrine, wrapped in quiet cedar groves, then head to Oharaimachi and Okage Yokocho to enjoy Ise-style food and shopping before heading to the pool in the early afternoon. After swimming seriously in the 25-meter pool, young children can safely enjoy water play in the infant pool, and the lazy river pool offers the pleasure of drifting peacefully on a float. Water slides are available for elementary school children and up, ensuring endless summer fun. Please note that the fountain pool and water tunnel will be closed in 2026. For visitors outside Wataraicho, admission is 1,000 yen for adults and 700 yen for infants and elementary/junior high students, with an additional 200 yen for lockers (for Wataraicho residents, 1,000 yen for adults and free for infants and elementary/junior high students). Located by the Miyagawa River in a nature-rich setting, this is a beloved local summer destination where you can enjoy views of trees' greenery while cooling off. It's a wonderful indulgent course for families that combines Ise Grand Shrine worship and pool play in a single day.
