2026 Futami-ura Beach Full-Day Course
A full-day course centered around Futami-ura Beach, which operates from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from July 25 (Saturday) to August 16 (Sunday) in 2026, taking you from Futami-cho in Ise City to Ise Grand Shrine's Inner Shrine. In the morning, first visit Futami Okitama Shrine (二見興玉神社), famous for the Meoto Iwa (Married Rocks), to start your day with a refreshed spirit. From there, drive to Ise Grand Shrine's Inner Shrine, cross Uji Bridge, and slowly pay your respects to the sacred grounds spreading along the Isuzu River. For lunch, enjoy Ise specialties at Okage Yokocho (おかげ横丁), then return to Futami-ura. The climax is the afternoon at Futami-ura Beach—a family-friendly beach with complimentary cold-water showers, restrooms, separate changing rooms for men and women, and approximately 150 free parking spaces. Swimming is free, and you can enjoy the ocean fully until evening. Bring your swimsuit and towel, and experience a summer day exploring both Ise's sea and pilgrimage routes.
