From July 18 (Saturday) to August 16 (Sunday), 2026, a full-day course to experience Kyotango City, centered around Hamatsumeuyukihigaura Beach, which will be open from 9 AM to 5 PM. In the morning, walk along Kotohikihama Beach, known for its "singing sand," and enjoy the scenery of strange rock formations and folding-screen rocks just beyond the sandy shore before entering the water. At lunch, take a break at Tango Kingdom "Miyako no Shokumisato" with local vegetables and regional cuisine, and relax in the spacious green area. In the afternoon, finally head to Hamatsumeuyukihigaura Beach. Swimming is free, with facilities including showers (fresh water free, hot water available for a fee), restrooms, changing rooms, 3 beach shops, and a BBQ area—perfect for families spending the whole day. Parking for regular cars is ¥2,000 per day. True to its name "Sunset Beach," you can enjoy both the crystal-clear daytime sea and the changing colors of the sky as evening approaches.
