2026 Tateiwa and Nochigahama Beach (立岩・後ヶ浜海水浴場) Full-Day Course
A one-day course that loops around the tip of the Tango Peninsula (丹後半島), starring Tateiwa and Nochigahama Beach (立岩・後ヶ浜海水浴場), open from Saturday, July 11 to Sunday, August 16, 2026. In the morning, top up on souvenirs and a swim ring at Tenki-Tenki Tango Roadside Station (道の駅てんきてんき丹後), then enjoy the majestic sea view at Kyogamisaki Lighthouse (経ヶ岬灯台), standing at the northernmost point of the Tango Peninsula. At midday, fuel up at Taiza Fishing Port (間人漁港) while breathing in the port-town air. The climax is Tateiwa and Nochigahama Beach in the afternoon. On this beautiful sandy shore looking out at the huge rock Tateiwa (立岩) rising at the water's edge, swimming hours run from 9:00 to 17:00. Showers, changing rooms and parking for 100 cars are all in place, so families can spend the day with peace of mind. Why not take a swimsuit and towel and head out to the summer sea of the Tango Peninsula?
