2026 Hokuhou Sports Park Pool - Full Day Course

A full-day course centered around Hokuhou Sports Park Pool (北方運動公園プール) in Takeo City, operating from July 1 (Wednesday) to August 31 (Monday), 2026. In the morning, pay your respects at the sacred tree "Takeo Shrine's Great Camphor" (武雄神社の大楠), said to be 3,000 years old, then take a breather at the beautifully wooden Takeo City Library before heading to the pool in the early afternoon. Hokuhou Sports Park Pool is an outdoor leisure pool equipped with a 25m full-fledged course pool and a children's pool. Operating in 4 time slots from 10:00 to 19:00, you can swim to your heart's content until evening. With rates of only 100 yen for city residents and 200 yen for non-residents per 2 hours, it's budget-friendly for families. The pool is conveniently close to Takeo City center and easily accessible by car. Please note that the pool is closed for maintenance on July 15 (Wednesday) and August 15 (Saturday), so check the schedule before visiting. A unique summer outing course in Takeo City, Saga Prefecture, where you can experience both the serenity of shrine and library visits and the lively water play at the pool in a single day.
