2026 Zenibako Seaside Beach Full-Day Course

A full-day course where you can enjoy the sea from morning until evening, centered around Zenibako Seaside Beach (銭函海水浴場) in Otaru City, which opens from July 4 (Saturday) to August 24 (Monday), 2026. In the morning, first stop by Zenibako Fishing Port to watch fishing boats coming and going in the calm harbor scenery under the morning light. Continue to Harish'ira Coast (張碓海岸) to enjoy the view of bizarre rock formations and Ishikari Bay, then have an early lunch to refuel. After lunch, head to Zenibako Seaside Beach. Swimming is free, and with clean restrooms and temporary toilet facilities available, you can relax even with small children. On the pristine white sandy beach with azure sea stretching before you, enjoy plenty of water play at the water's edge and sand play until evening. Conveniently close to JR Hakodate Main Line's Zenibako Station (銭函駅), and easy to access from both Otaru and Sapporo directions. The parking lot is paid, so it's good to have small coins ready.
