2026 Iwade Municipal Pool (岩出市民プール) Full-Day Course
A one-day course starring Iwade Municipal Pool (岩出市民プール), the outdoor leisure pool in Iwade City, Wakayama Prefecture (和歌山県岩出市), which operates from Wednesday, July 1 to Monday, August 31, 2026. In the morning, stroll at a leisurely pace through the national treasure great pagoda and the spacious grounds of Negoro-ji (根来寺), one of the city's foremost temples, then get lunch ready at Negoro Ichibankan Roadside Station (道の駅ねごろ壱番館) while browsing local vegetables and specialty products. Once you are full, it is finally time for Iwade Municipal Pool. It is a filtered outdoor pool, and the 25 m main pool has eight lanes with room for relaxed swimming, while the slide in the small pool is hugely popular with children. The reasonable resident rate of 300 yen is another appeal, and infants are free, so families with small children can relax. Use from outside the city is same-day only, so checking in advance makes planning easier. There are closed days such as the first and third Tuesdays, so confirming operations in advance is recommended too. It is a classic summer outing course to enjoy casually in northern Wakayama Prefecture (和歌山県).
