2026 Kamo Rainbow Beach (加茂レインボービーチ) Full-Day Course

A one-day course that stars Kamo Rainbow Beach (加茂レインボービーチ), open from Saturday 18 July to Sunday 16 August 2026, and takes in the whole coastal area of Tsuruoka City (鶴岡市). In the morning, immerse yourself in the dreamlike world of jellyfish at Tsuruoka City Kamo Aquarium (鶴岡市立加茂水族館) right beside the beach, then pray for a safe trip at Zenpoji Temple (善宝寺), an old temple known for its dragon-deity faith. Have lunch on Shonai (庄内) seafood at Yunohama Onsen (湯野浜温泉), and once you are refuelled it is on to Kamo Rainbow Beach. Swimming hours run from 8:30 to 17:00, with toilets, a first-aid station and lifeguards on hand, and its position next to Kamo Aquarium is reassuring for families. Both the car park and swimming are free, which makes it wonderfully easy to visit. Play at the water's edge through the afternoon and make summer memories by the Shonai sea. Pack a swimsuit and a towel and set out for the sea at Tsuruoka.
