2026 Nishihama Beach Full Day Course

Nishihama Beach in Yusa Town, Yamagata Prefecture, is a public beach open from July 17 (Friday) to August 16 (Sunday) in 2026. Located on the northern Shōnai coast with views of Mt. Chōkai, swimming hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. This full-day course explores Yusa Town's unique nature and history in the morning, includes lunch, and features beach swimming in the afternoon. First, experience the serene waters of the mystical spring-fed pond "Marui-ike-sama," then explore the stone Buddha group "Jūroku Rakan Iwa" along Fukiura's coast while enjoying the sea breeze and local history. The beach is equipped with restrooms, changing rooms, showers, and first aid facilities, with lifeguards on duty, making it safe for families with small children.
