2026 Shibukawa Beach (渋川海水浴場) Full-Day Course
A one-day course that takes in the whole of the Seto Inland Sea (瀬戸内海), scenery and play alike, starring Shibukawa Beach (渋川海水浴場) in Tamano City, Okayama Prefecture (岡山県玉野市), open from Saturday 11 July to Sunday 23 August 2026. In the morning, first head out to Ojigatake (王子が岳) and walk amid superb views over the Great Seto Bridge (瀬戸大橋) and islands large and small. Next, stroll the shore of the large pond at Miyama Park (深山公園) and stretch your legs on the lawns to round out the morning. As lunchtime nears, move to Shibukawa Marine Aquarium (渋川マリン水族館), watch the creatures of the Seto Inland Sea up close and build your excitement for the beach. The climax is Shibukawa Beach in the afternoon. Swimming is free, and alongside beach houses offering showers and baggage storage there is a water park, plus parking for about 493 cars (100 yen per hour, capped at 1,000 yen per day), so arriving by car is easy. Swim at the water's edge or float on a ring and make the most of the Seto Inland Sea until evening. Superb views from Ojigatake, a play at Miyama Park, creature-watching at the aquarium, and then the sea at Shibukawa — enjoy a packed day with the whole family.
