2026 Masuda Athletic Park Summer Fureai Pool Full-Day Experience Course
A one-day course centered around the "Summer Fureai Pool" held at Masuda Athletic Park in Masuda City, Shimane Prefecture from July 10 (Friday) to August 31 (Monday), 2026. Operating from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the pool operates on a three-time-slot system (10–12 a.m., 1–3 p.m., 4–6 p.m.) allowing you to enjoy the water while rotating sessions, making it easy to plan without worrying about crowds. In the morning, spend a quiet time at Ikoji Temple (医光寺), an ancient temple known for its garden created by the renowned artist Sesshu, then stroll through the plaza of Grandtowa (Shimane Prefectural Ishimi Art Museum), impressive with its large red tile roof. From noon, finally enter the Fureai Pool and savor water play activities that delight toddlers through elementary school children until evening. With admission at just 100 yen (tax included) per session, this is a welcome point for families. Since toddlers require a guardian, young families can confidently introduce their children to water play. A quintessential Masuda summer outing where you can experience both historical exploration and water play in a single day.
