2026 Osuna Beach (大砂海水浴場) Full-Day Course

A one-day course to enjoy the Shishikui (宍喰) area at leisure, starring Osuna Beach (大砂海水浴場) in Kaiyo Town, Tokushima Prefecture (徳島県海陽町), open from Saturday 18 July to Sunday 23 August 2026. In the morning, head to Takegashima Marine Park (竹ヶ島海中公園) to peer into unusually clear water from a glass-bottom boat. Watch the colourful fish and coral spread out beneath the glass hull and get a taste of tropical seas before you even swim. For lunch, stop at Michi-no-Eki Shishikui Onsen (道の駅 宍喰温泉) by the shore and refuel with a set meal made from local seafood. There is a day-use hot spring too, perfect for a break on a sweaty summer day. Then, in the afternoon, on to Osuna Beach. This shallow beach has parking for 100 cars, changing rooms, showers and toilets, with swimming from 9:00 to 17:00 and no admission charge. Enjoy splashing at the water's edge and playing in the sand to your heart's content until evening. Pack a swimsuit and a towel and head for a seaside town near the southern tip of Tokushima Prefecture.
