2026 Tainohama Beach (田井ノ浜海水浴場) Full-Day Course

A one-day course to enjoy all of Minami Town, Tokushima Prefecture (徳島県美波町), starring Tainohama Beach (田井ノ浜海水浴場), open from Sunday 12 July to Sunday 30 August 2026. In the morning, first stop at Michi-no-Eki Hiwasa (道の駅日和佐) to get ready for the trip, then pray for your family's health and protection from misfortune at Yakuoji Temple (薬王寺), the 23rd temple of the Shikoku 88-temple pilgrimage. Next, meet the sea turtles at the Hiwasa Sea Turtle Museum Caretta (日和佐うみがめ博物館カレッタ), building your appetite for the sea before lunch. The climax is Tainohama Beach in the afternoon: a shallow swimming beach with beautiful sands, free to swim at. A temporary car park is provided nearby in front of the B&G Yuki Marine Center (B&G由岐海洋センター), and during the season the temporary JR Tainohama Station (JR田井ノ浜臨時駅) also opens, making it easy to reach by car or by train. Play at the water's edge to your heart's content until evening and soak up summer in Tokushima. Pack a swimsuit and a towel and head for the sea at Minami Town.
