2026 Astamu Water Park (あすたむウォーターパーク) Full-Day Course

A one-day course starring Astamu Water Park (あすたむウォーターパーク), the outdoor leisure pool inside Astamuland Tokushima (あすたむらんど徳島) in Itano Town, Tokushima Prefecture (徳島県板野町), open from Saturday 18 July to Sunday 30 August 2026. It operates mainly at weekends and on public holidays; in August it opens daily except 19 August, and it also opens specially on the Wednesdays of 5, 12 and 26 August, so you can pick a weekday that suits you. In the morning, first meet the children's science museum and planetarium at the park's Science Plaza, then get moving on the large obstacle course and jumbo slide at Adventure Land (冒険の国). At lunch, stop at Michi-no-Eki Itano (道の駅いたの) to fuel up on local flavours, and then it is on to the pool. Entry to Astamu Water Park is free, and with shallow areas about 20 cm deep at its heart — water guns, a splash pond, floating stepping stones — small children can play safely. Cool off in the fountains and mist and enjoy the water right up to the evening closing time. It is easy to reach from central Tokushima, making it a summer standby where the whole family can play at length. Balancing indoor exhibits with outdoor water play across the day is another part of its appeal.
