2026 Rinku Beach (りんくうビーチ) Full-Day Course
This full-day course centers on Rinku Beach (りんくうビーチ) in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture (愛知県常滑市), open daily from 10am to 16:00, from Saturday, July 11 through Monday, August 31, 2026. In the morning, take a leisurely walk along Tokoname Manekineko-dori (とこなめ招き猫通り), known as the Yakimono Sanpo-michi (やきもの散歩道) or Pottery Footpath, and admire the beckoning cat statues and ceramic pottery. Next, enjoy the tile and clay-pipe exhibits and hands-on craft experiences at the INAX Live Museum (INAXライブミュージアム), then have lunch at Michi-no-Eki Tokoname (道の駅とこなめ). The afternoon highlight is Rinku Beach. It is fully equipped with changing rooms, showers, and restrooms, plus a cafe and a BBQ area, and free life-jacket rentals are available, so families with small children can enjoy the beach with peace of mind. Swimming is free, and parking costs 1,000 yen per day (500 yen from November to March). From strolling through the Tokoname-yaki (常滑焼) pottery town to a swim in the sea, this is a day to fully enjoy the Aichi summer. Bring swimsuits and towels, and head out to the sea of Tokoname.
