2026 Kashiwazaki Chuo Beach (柏崎中央海水浴場) Full-Day Course

A one-day course to enjoy all of Kashiwazaki City (柏崎市), starring Kashiwazaki Chuo Beach (柏崎中央海水浴場), open from Sunday 5 July to Sunday 16 August 2026, 9:00 to 16:00, on days when lifeguards are on duty. In the morning, meet the dolphins and penguins at Kashiwazaki City Aquarium (柏崎市立水族博物館) right by the sea, then enjoy the view from the high ground and a visit at Banjindo (番神堂). Have lunch at Fonje (フォンジェ) in front of Kashiwazaki Station (柏崎駅), and in the afternoon it is on to Kashiwazaki Chuo Beach. On this beach inside Minatomachi Seaside Park (みなとまち海浜公園), with two changing areas plus showers and toilets, you can enjoy everything from splashing at the water's edge to playing in the sand. Swimming is free and parking is free too, so families can spend the whole day without worry. There is no shop on site, so bringing drinks and snacks in advance is reassuring. Swimming ends at 16:00, so allow time to change and wrap up a little early. A day to enjoy summer in Kashiwazaki through both its sea and its town.
