2026 Teradomari Chuo Beach (寺泊中央海水浴場) Full-Day Course
A one-day course for enjoying the whole port town of Teradomari (寺泊) in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, starring Teradomari Chuo Beach (寺泊中央海水浴場), open from Saturday, July 11 to Sunday, August 16, 2026. In the morning, take in history and culture at the Ryokan no Sato Art Museum (良寛の里美術館) in Izumozaki (出雲崎), then meet the creatures of the sea at the Teradomari Aquarium Museum (寺泊水族博物館). At lunchtime, taste freshly landed seafood on Teradomari's famous Fish Market Street (魚の市場通り). The climax is Teradomari Chuo Beach (寺泊中央海水浴場) in the afternoon. Swimming is free, and with changing rooms, paid hot showers and beach houses, it is a beach where families can relax with peace of mind (no barbecue allowed).
