2026 Sunset Beach (サンセットビーチ) Full-Day Course

A one-day course for enjoying the whole Chatan (北谷) area, starring Sunset Beach (サンセットビーチ) in Chatan Town, open from Friday, April 10 to Monday, November 30, 2026. In the morning, watch planes and the sea from the observation deck of Michi-no-Eki Kadena (道の駅かでな), then get moving on the lawns and play equipment of Chatan Park (北谷公園). At midday, enjoy an Okinawan lunch and shopping at Mihama American Village (美浜アメリカンビレッジ), and once you have eaten your fill it is time for the sea. Sunset Beach (サンセットビーチ) is an artificial beach with shallow water and gentle waves, equipped with a management office, restrooms, showers, lockers and a barbecue area, which makes it easy to spend time here even with small children. During the open season, hours are from 9:00 to 18:00 (varying by season). Play at the water's edge all afternoon, and round off the day watching the sunset that gave the beach its name. Why not pack a swimsuit and a towel and head out to the sea of Chatan Town (北谷町)?
