2026 Katase-Nishihama & Kugenuma Beach: A Full Day Course

A full-day course to enjoy the Fujisawa and Enoshima area to the fullest, centered on Katase-Nishihama & Kugenuma Beach, which opens from July 1 to September 13, 2026. Spend the morning at the New Enoshima Aquarium meeting marine creatures, then cross to Enoshima Island to visit Enoshima Shrine. After strolling the approach and having a bite, head to Katase-Nishihama & Kugenuma Beach in the afternoon. Swimming hours are 9 AM to 5 PM (8 AM to 5 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and August 8-16). With beach houses dotting the sandy shore and a view of Enoshima in the distance, you can enjoy the sea to your heart's content until evening. Swimming is free, and changing rooms and showers are available at the beach houses, so you can travel light.
