2026 Atagoyama Beach Full-Day Experience
A one-day course centered on Atagoyama Beach in Mutsu City, opening from July 18 (Saturday) to August 16 (Sunday) 2026. In the morning, pray for safe travels at Tanable Shrine (田名部神社), the regional guardian shrine of Mutsu City's Tanable district, then visit the adjacent exhibition hall to see the floats of the famous Shimokita summer festival "Tanable Matsuri." Enjoy lunch at Tanable Honmachi Shopping Street, then experience the highlight—swimming at Atagoyama Beach. Swimming hours are 10 AM to 3 PM (12 PM–1 PM break). Swimming is free. With 50 parking spaces, toilets, and cold-water showers, you can change and rest comfortably. Enjoy Mutsu Bay's calm waters while combining Shimokita's historical tour with beach activities in a single day. Perfect for creating summer vacation memories. Close to Mutsu City center and easily accessible by car.
