2026 Bentenjima Kaihin Park Beach One-Day Course
This one-day course centers on Bentenjima Kaihin Park Beach (弁天島海浜公園海水浴場), open from Sunday, July 19 to Monday, August 31, 2026, between 9am and 4pm, taking you around the highlights of the Lake Hamana shoreline. In the morning, start by admiring the vermilion great torii gate, the symbol of Bentenjima (弁天島), then enjoy getting up close with aquatic creatures at Hamanako Experience Learning Facility Watto (浜名湖体験学習施設ウォット). Next, head to Kanzanji Onsen (舘山寺温泉) and take the ropeway up to Okusayama Park (大草山公園) for a panoramic view of Lake Hamana. After grabbing a bite to eat, it's finally time to head to Bentenjima Kaihin Park Beach. Swimming is free, and with changing rooms, showers, restrooms, and lifeguards on duty, it's safe even for families with small children. About 300 parking spaces are available for 410 yen per visit. Enjoy plenty of splashing in the shallows under the afternoon sun and make the most of Lake Hamana in summer. Why not bring your swimsuit and towel and head to the sea in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture?
