2026 Chichiba Beach 1-Day Full Experience Course

A 1-day course featuring Chichiba Beach, which opens from July 25 (Saturday) to August 16 (Sunday), 2026, allowing you to enjoy all the charms of Mitoyo City. In the morning, first pray for safe travels at Kakujouin, a renowned temple in Nio Town, and relax in its serene grounds. Next, stop at Michi-no-Eki Fureai Park Mino, where you can grab lunch at the local vegetable market and playground with a large slide while restocking beach supplies. Then finally, head to Chichiba Beach in the afternoon. The shallow sandy beach with calm waves is nationally famous for its "mirror effect"—where water perfectly reflects the sky—making it a popular photo spot for families. Swimming hours are 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and entry is free (warm showers only are paid). Please note that it's closed every Tuesday and Wednesday. Free parking is available (partially paid during busy periods). After enjoying water play to your heart's content, wrap up Mitoyo's summer while admiring the Seto Inland Sea sunset. Bring your swimsuit and towel to Chichiba Beach.
