2026 Shodoshima Family Pool Day-Long Enjoyment Course

A full-day course featuring the Shodoshima Family Pool, an outdoor leisure pool operated by Shodoshima Town from July 18 (Saturday) to August 23 (Sunday), 2026 (closed every Tuesday). In the morning, take a nostalgic Showa-era walk through the "Twenty-Four Eyes Movie Village" where the film location sets remain, and also stop by the Shodoshima Daikannon overlooking the Seto Inland Sea to experience the relaxed, island atmosphere. From noon onward, arrive at the Shodoshima Family Pool at last. At this beachside location with a view of the sea, four types of water activities await—main pool, flowing water pool, children's pool with frog slide, and fountain pool—perfect for everyone from small children to adults to enjoy until evening. There's also a paid warm-water shower available, so you can stay comfortable even after play. Operating hours are 10:00-16:00, and the Healthy Time discount (15:00-16:00) offers reduced admission—an extra nice touch. This is a course where your whole family can savor a full summer's day while feeling the sea breeze of the Seto Inland Sea.
