2026 Irino Beach (入野海水浴場) Full-Day Course
A one-day course for savoring the coast of western Tosa (土佐) at an easy pace, starring Irino Beach (入野海水浴場) in Kuroshio Town, Kochi Prefecture, open from Sunday, July 19 to Monday, August 31, 2026. In the morning, encounter the unique idea of a museum without walls at the Sandy Beach Museum (砂浜美術館) right beside the beach, then stroll Irino Matsubara (入野松原), chosen as one of Japan's 100 finest landscapes of white sand and green pines, and enjoy the sea breeze and the scent of pine. For lunch, taste Kochi (高知) seafood and specialty products at Michi-no-Eki Ogata (道の駅大方), and once you have eaten your fill it is time for Irino Beach (入野海水浴場). The bow-shaped white sand stretching about 4 km and the calm, gently shelving sea come with parking for 147 standard cars and 5 large vehicles, plus restrooms, changing rooms and paid showers, so families can relax. Swimming is allowed from 9:00 to 17:00, and the beach closes in stormy weather or high waves. There is no charge (only the showers cost 100 yen), so you can enjoy the sea casually. Lose yourself in sand play and water play to the sound of the waves and savor the Tosa (土佐) sea to the fullest until evening. Why not pack a swimsuit and a towel and head out to the Kochi (高知) sea, scented by the Kuroshio Current (黒潮)?
