2026 Karo Port Beach Full-Day Experience Course

A full-day course centered around Karo Port Beach (賀露みなと海水浴場), which opens from July 18 (Saturday) to August 16 (Sunday), 2026, and fully enjoys the Karo Port area of Tottori City. In the morning, start at Tottori Kago Kanikkoya (とっとり賀露かにっこ館) right next to Karo Port, where you can touch local marine life. Next, venture to Tottori Dunes (鳥取砂丘) to walk the majestic sand hills and experience a non-ordinary summer vacation. At noon, return to the port to enjoy fresh seafood at Tottori Port Seafood Market Karoichi (鳥取港海鮮市場かろいち). The climax is Karo Port Beach in the afternoon. This is a free-entry beach managed by the Karo Port Tourism Association, surrounded by seafood restaurants, so you won't lack for food and refreshments after swimming. Swimming hours are 9:00-17:00 on weekends and holidays, 9:30-16:00 on weekdays. Pack your swimsuit and towel, and head to Tottori's summer sea!
