2026 Makubetsu Summer Festa (まくべつ夏フェスタ2026) Full-Day Course

This full-day course centers on Makubetsu Summer Festa 2026 (まくべつ夏フェスタ2026), held at the Makubetsu Town Sports Park Special Venue (幕別町運動公園特設会場) in Makubetsu, Nakagawa District (中川郡幕別町), and lets you fully enjoy a Tokachi (十勝) summer. It was originally scheduled for July 19 but was postponed to this date due to a rain forecast. In the morning, visit family-friendly staple spots in neighboring Obihiro City, enjoying time with the animals at Obihiro Zoo (帯広市立帯広動物園) before touching on Tokachi's history at the Obihiro Centennial City Museum (帯広百年記念館). After picking up some sweets for the road at the long-established confectionery Rokkatei Obihiro Main Store (六花亭帯広本店), finally head to the venue at Makubetsu Town Sports Park (幕別町運動公園). The gates open at 1 p.m., and the venue stays lively with stage events and many food stalls until evening, with the finale fireworks going up around 8 p.m. Look up from the spacious sports park lawn as about 3,000 fireworks color the night sky over the Tokachi Plain.
