2026 Yukata Festival at Yonakohama - Full Day Experience Course
A full day course centered around the "Yukata Festival at Yonakohama" held on July 20, 2026 (Monday, National Holiday) at Yonakohama Park in Yonabaru Town. In the morning, visit Yonabaru Station Building, the iconic symbol of Yonabaru Town, to experience Okinawa Prefecture Railway history. Continue to Nanjo City to enjoy Okinawa World's Gyokusendo Cave, Japan's largest stalactite cavern, and Eisa dance performances. Rest at the popular seaside cafe "Hamabe no Chaya" overlooking the ocean, then view the spectacular southern coastline from Niraika Nai Bridge. Return to Yonabaru Town's Yonakohama Park in the evening, where you'll enjoy the summer festival's food stalls and events bustling with yukata-clad visitors. Though the number of fireworks isn't announced, around 8:30 PM a finale features fireworks coloring the seaside venue. A plan combining Nanjo's popular tourism attractions and local summer festival atmosphere in one day. Wearing yukata enhances the festival mood. Perfect for creating family summer memories.
