2026 Inatori Onsen Fireworks Dance: A Full-Day Course
This is a course for enjoying an Izu port town over a full day, centered on the Inatori Onsen Fireworks Dance held on Monday, July 20, 2026 (a national holiday), in Inatori Onsen, Higashiizu Town, Shizuoka Prefecture. Start at midday with a lunch of fresh seafood landed at Inatori Port, then admire the colorful hanging ornaments at Hina no Yakata Mukai Garden. At Ebisu Island, a small island floating in the sea, enjoy a stroll across the breakwater while feeling the sea breeze, and in the afternoon, take a leisurely walk through Inatori Onsen town to soak in the travel atmosphere. In the evening, move to the Inatori East Coast to cool off and fill up before the fireworks. The Inatori Onsen Fireworks Dance is held every night, rotating among three venues, in front of Inatori Ginsuiso, Sunrise Terrace, and the New Breakwater, and on this day, about 500 shells will be launched from in front of Inatori Ginsuiso. The appeal of the Inatori Fireworks Dance lies in viewing the fireworks up close, a distance made possible by the seaside hot-spring town. This is the definitive summer Inatori plan, packing in both a stroll through an Izu port town and fireworks by the sea.
