2026 Summer Toba Bay Nightly Fireworks: A Full-Day Course
This is a full-day course centered on the Summer Toba Bay Nightly Fireworks, launched every night around Toba Bay (鳥羽湾) in Toba City, Mie Prefecture, on Saturday, July 25, 2026. At midday, meet popular dugongs and sea otters at Toba Aquarium (鳥羽水族館), and touch the history of pearl cultivation at the adjoining Mikimoto Pearl Island (ミキモト真珠島). In the evening, enjoy shopping and a light snack near Toba Station, then move to the area around Sadahama (佐田浜) for dinner. The fireworks are launched nightly from July 25 through August 23, for about five minutes starting around 8:30 PM. The launch location shifts by period among Obama, Obama Bay, Anrakujima Bay, and Sadahama, and on July 25 it is scheduled to launch from the Obama area. Check Toba City's official announcement in advance for the day's launch location and the best direction to view it. This is a summer day plan unique to Toba, combining a tour of the aquarium with fireworks by the sea. A course perfect for families, spent with the scent of the sea befitting a town of ama divers.
