A full-day course showcasing the Nantan Dragon's Forest Summer Festival with Fireworks, held on July 25, 2026 (Saturday) at Kyoto Prefectural Citizens' Forest Hiyoshi in Amakaze, Hiyoshi-cho, Nantan City. In the morning, tour the massive dam of Hiyoshi Dam and enjoy rest and shopping at the adjacent Michi-no-Eki Springs Hiyoshi. In the afternoon, walk the trails through the forest at Citizens' Forest Hiyoshi and enjoy water play in the stream, fully experiencing nature. From 5 PM, enjoy dinner at the summer festival venue while soaking in the festive atmosphere, and fireworks will light up the mountain-rimmed night sky from around 8 PM. A uniquely Nantan experience combining dam viewing, forest walks, and local summer festivals. A cool and refreshing summer day in the lush green mountains.
