2026 Kamigori River Festival Fireworks: Full-Day Course
This full-day course, set on Saturday, July 25, 2026, centers on the Kamigori River Festival Fireworks held around the waterfront park across from Kamigori Town Hall in Ako District, Hyogo Prefecture. At midday, visit the foot of Shirahata Castle Ruins (白旗城跡), known as a Nanboku-cho-era battle site, and enjoy a historic walk through the mountains. In the afternoon, have lunch at the shopping street in front of Kamigori Station, then cool off playing in the water at the waterfront park along the Chikusa River. In the evening, have dinner around the same waterfront park and secure a spot, then from 7pm to 8pm, 1,700 fireworks shells color the night sky along the Chikusa River. This Kamigori Town plan lets you enjoy a historic walk, river play, and local fireworks all in one day - a relaxed, quiet summer night for families in a mountain town.
