2026 Yoshinogari Town Summer Fureai Festival Fireworks: A Full-Day Course

This is a full-day course centered on the Yoshinogari Town Summer Fureai Festival Fireworks, held at Fureai Plaza (ふれあい広場) in Yoshinogari Historical Park (吉野ヶ里歴史公園) in Yoshinogari Town, Kanzaki District, Saga Prefecture, on Saturday, July 25, 2026. At midday, tour the Southern Inner Enclosure and Northern Inner Enclosure (南内郭・北内郭), where Yayoi-period life comes back to life, and enjoy hands-on activities such as making magatama beads in the Asobi no Hara (Ancient Play Field) Zone (古代の原ゾーン). In the afternoon, spend time picnicking in the spacious Moat Plaza (環壕広場), and in the evening secure a spot around Fureai Plaza while enjoying summer-festival food stalls. From 8:00 PM to 8:15 PM, about 330 fireworks color the night sky over the Yayoi village. This is a day plan unique to Yoshinogari Town, combining historical experiences, hands-on crafts, and local fireworks. A course packed with learning and play as you walk around one of Japan's largest moated settlement ruins.
