2026 Suzuran Fireworks (鈴蘭花火): A Full One-Day Course

This is a course for enjoying a full day in a highland town surrounded by the greenery of the Rokko mountain range, centered on the Suzuran Fireworks (鈴蘭花火) held in the Suzurandai area of Kita Ward, Kobe, on Sunday, July 26, 2026. At midday, enjoy the seasonal trees and quiet walking paths of the Kobe Municipal Arboretum (神戸市立森林植物園), then head to Shiawase no Mura (しあわせの村), where each family member can spend time at their own pace across its vast grounds. In the evening, build up excitement for the fireworks while shopping and eating at the shopping street in front of Suzurandai Station (鈴蘭台駅前商店街). Be sure to check the organizer's latest announcements in advance for the event time and viewing details. As dusk falls, about 400 fireworks are launched one after another into the night sky. Watching leisurely from the hillside residential area is a calm fireworks display unique to this mountain town. Though not large in scale, it is less crowded, making it comfortable to enjoy even with small children. Spending the day in the green surroundings of Suzurandai makes for a fitting close to summer.
