2026 Hidaka Summer Festival (日高夏まつり) Full-Day Course

This is a full-day course centered on the Hidaka Summer Festival (日高夏まつり), held from 19:45 on Sunday, July 26, 2026, around JR Ebara Station in Hidaka-cho, Toyooka City, letting you enjoy the countryside of Tajima where storks soar. At midday, observe storks up close at the Stork Sanctuary Park (コウノトリの郷公園), then take in the planes and peaceful countryside scenery from the observation deck of Konotori Tajima Airport (コウノトリ但馬空港). In the evening, build up excitement for the fireworks while shopping and eating at the shopping street in front of Ebara Station. After picking up dinner and securing a spot near the venue, wait for the sun to set. From 19:45 to 20:10, around 600 fireworks color the night sky. The sound and light of the fireworks echoing across the countryside have a rustic charm quite different from fireworks displays in the city. It's a plan unique to summer in Tajima, combining nature-watching and fireworks to the fullest.
