2026 Tsukigata Summer Festival: A Full-Day Course
This course lets you enjoy a full day in the lush, rural town of Tsukigata (月形町), centered on the Tsukigata Summer Festival held at Kairaku Park (皆楽公園) on Saturday, July 25, 2026. At midday, learn about pioneer history at Tsukigata Kabato Museum (月形樺戸博物館), then savor local produce and specialties at Michi-no-Eki 275 Tsukigata (道の駅275つきがた). In the afternoon, enjoy a lakeside stroll and boating at Kairaku Park (皆楽公園). In the evening, pick up dinner around the park, secure a spot, and wait for dusk to fall. From 8:00 to 9:00 p.m., fireworks color the night sky over the lake. The fireworks reflected on the water's surface offer a beautiful view unique to Kairaku Park (皆楽公園). It's a summer plan unique to Tsukigata that lets you enjoy history, nature, and fireworks all in one.
