2026 Kusu Gion Grand Festival (玖珠祇園大祭) One-Day Course
This one-day course centers on the Kusu Gion Grand Festival (玖珠祇園大祭), held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 around Kyoshin Bridge (協心橋) in Kusu Town, Oita Prefecture, and lets you fully enjoy a day along the Kusu River (玖珠川). During the day, learn about steam locomotive history at the Bungo-Mori Roundhouse (豊後森機関庫) and stroll through the greenery of Mishima Park (三島公園). After wandering the shopping street in central Kusu Town for an early dinner, head to the Gion Grand Festival venue.
