2026 Wakuya Summer Festival - Full Day Experience
On July 26, 2026 (Sunday), this full-day course features the Wakuya Summer Festival held at Wakuya Stadium in Onda District, Wakuya Town. At noon, visit Shiroyama Park (城山公園) built on the Wakuya Castle ruins, enjoying the exhibits in the archive building and the panoramic town view. In the afternoon, venture to the ancient temple Shoomyoji (箟峯寺) nestled on Mount Nooage and spend quiet time in the lush mountain valley. In the evening, walk along the Eai River promenade to enjoy the coolness, then head to Wakuya Stadium area for dinner and wait for the show. After sunset, enjoy the fireworks at Wakuya Stadium with your family. A perfect Wakuya summer day combining castle ruins, mountain temples, and riverside nature. The festival runs from 7:20 PM to 9:00 PM with plenty of fireworks to enjoy.
