2026 Seiryu Festival - Full Day Experience Course
A full-day course centered around the Seiryu Festival held on July 25, 2026 (Saturday), allowing you to enjoy one day in Soja City (総社市), Okayama Prefecture, where the history of ancient Kibi (古代吉備) thrives. During the day, you'll view the five-story pagoda of Bitchu Kokubunji Temple standing among rural fields, and in the afternoon, you'll enjoy stunning views of the Seto Inland Sea from Oninojo Castle (鬼ノ城), an ancient mountain fortress with well-preserved remains. In the evening, you'll take a leisurely walk along the Takahashi River (高梁川) riverbed where the venue is located, and secure a spot while enjoying festival food from the stalls. Starting at 8:30 PM, approximately 1,100 fireworks illuminate the night sky above the Takahashi River Seion Riverbed Ground. This is a greedy yet perfect one-day plan unique to Soja City, where you can enjoy both a history walk through ancient Kibi and the fireworks by the clear river.
