2026 Kinoe Itsukushima Shrine Jushichiya Festival Offshore Fireworks Display: Full-Day Enjoyment Course
Centered on the Kinoe Itsukushima Shrine Jushichiya Festival Offshore Fireworks Display held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 8:00 to 8:30 PM, this course lets you leisurely spend a full day enjoying Osaki Kamijima, an island floating in the Seto Inland Sea. During the day, walk through the retro townscape of Kinoe Port, which also serves as the fireworks venue, and take in the panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea's many islands from the island's highest lookout, the Mt. Kannomine observation deck. On the day, a kai-tenma boat race is held during the daytime, and from 7:00 PM there are also events on the cargo-landing stage. In the evening, head back to Kinoe Port to fill up while waiting for the show to begin, and at night about 3,500 fireworks launch offshore into the sky. This is a summer day plan unique to Osaki Kamijima, letting you fully enjoy the port town's atmosphere, the island's nature, and offshore fireworks.
