2026 Aioi Festival Fukizutsu Fireworks: Full-Day Enjoyment Course

Centered on the Fukizutsu Fireworks of the Aioi Festival, a tradition passed down in Aioi, Naka Town, Tokushima Prefecture, this course lets you enjoy a full day in the rich nature of Aioi, Naka Town. During the day, enjoy the forest and the large treehouse at Aioi Forest Culture Park, play in the river at the Naka River riverbank, and wash off the sweat at Momijigawa Onsen. In the evening, head back to the Aioi district to fill up, and at night the traditional Fukizutsu Fireworks color the sky. Since Fukizutsu Fireworks has traditionally been held around the Obon period each year, please check with Naka Town or the tourism association in advance for the 2026 schedule and venue. This is a summer day plan unique to mountainous Naka Town, letting you fully enjoy the forest, the river, and the traditional bamboo-tube fireworks reminiscent of hand-held fireworks.
