2026 Chikanaga Summer Festival Fireworks: A Full One-Day Course
This course centers on the Chikanaga Summer Festival Fireworks (近永夏祭り花火大会), held from 8:10 to 8:40 PM on Sunday, July 26, 2026, and lets you enjoy the satoyama countryside of Kihoku Town (鬼北町) for a full day. During the day, enjoy strolling through the shopping street in front of Chikanaga Station (近永駅前商店街), play in the water at the riverbed of the Hiromi River (広見川), and experience local flavors at Michi-no-Eki Hiyoshi Musanchi (道の駅日吉夢産地). In the evening, return to the venue in the Chikanaga area (近永地区) to grab a bite while waiting for the show, and at night around 2,000 fireworks color the night sky over the satoyama countryside. It's a summer day plan unique to Kihoku Town, where you can fully enjoy water play in a clear stream along with the local summer festival.
