2026 Asahi Festival Full-Day Immersion Course

On July 25, 2026 (Saturday), this full-day course celebrates the Asahi Festival in Echizen Town, Fukui Prefecture, while fully enjoying the Echizen Coast area. At noon, visit the Michi no Eki Echizen where local cuisine is abundant and encounter Echizen crab and other seafood. Surrounded by the salty sea breeze unique to a port town overlooking the Japan Sea, enjoy a leisurely lunch. Next, move to the Echizen Matsushima Aquarium to enjoy fish swimming in crystal-clear tanks, dolphin shows, and interactions with penguins. The interior stays cool even in summer, making it a perfect rest spot on hot days. In the afternoon, drive along the Echizen Coast past dramatic cliffs and enjoy views of the Japan Sea stretching to the horizon.
