2026 Miharu Village Summer Festival Full-Day Enjoyment Course

Held on July 26, 2026 (Sunday) at 7:30 PM around Miharu Village Rural Life Hall in Miharu Town, Fukushima Prefecture, this course centers on the Miharu Village Summer Festival fireworks and lets you enjoy a full day in Miharu Town with its rural mountain scenery. At midday, visit Miharu Takizakura, one of Japan's three most famous cherry trees, and appreciate the magnificent presence of this 1,000-year-old giant tree. Next, view the town landscape from the elevated Miharu Castle Ruins, and then be healed by the scenery at Sakura Lake. In the evening, experience rural living while enjoying dinner at the venue, Miharu Village Rural Life Hall, and wait for dusk. At 7:30 PM, approximately 1,000 fireworks illuminate the night sky, and for about one hour until 8:30 PM, they color the summer night of the countryside. A greedy plan unique to Miharu where you can enjoy famous tree viewing, lakeside walks, and fireworks lighting up the sky. Please be aware that the area around the venue becomes quite dark at night, so plan to move early.
