2026 Isa Summer Festival Fireworks Full-Day Course
A full-day course celebrating the Isa Summer Festival Fireworks held on July 25, 2026 at Oguchi General Ground vicinity in Isa City, Kagoshima Prefecture, while enjoying Isa's nature and festival. At midday, experience the powerful water spray at Sogi Waterfall, known as the 'Oriental Niagara,' and visit the nearby Sogi Power Station ruins to see the structure submerged in the dam lake. In the afternoon, enjoy strolling and playing on equipment at the verdant Chuugen Park to relieve the fatigue from waterfall viewing. In the evening, move to the fireworks festival venue at Oguchi General Ground, browse summer festival food stalls while having dinner and secure your spot. Starting at 8:30 PM, approximately 7,000 fireworks illuminate the night sky for one hour. The powerful finale with sounds echoing through the inland basin provides continuous spectacular views. A summer plan unique to Isa that abundantly enjoys both visiting famous waterfalls and the city's largest-scale fireworks festival. As roads around the fireworks festival venue will be congested on the event day, plan to arrive early.
