2026 – The 33rd Toma Banryu Festival (とうま蟠龍まつり): A Full One-Day Course
This course centers on the 33rd Toma Banryu Festival (とうま蟠龍まつり), held from 7:55 PM on Sunday, August 2, 2026, and lets you enjoy a full day in Toma Town (当麻町), Kamikawa District (上川郡). At midday, experience local flavors at Michi-no-Eki Toma (道の駅とうま), then have a cave-exploration-style nature experience at the Toma Limestone Cave (当麻鍾乳洞). In the afternoon, move your body freely and play at Sunrise Park Toma (サンライズパーク当麻). In the evening, return to the festival venue, fill up on food stalls, and wait for the show to begin. For 10 minutes starting at 7:55 PM, fireworks launch intensively into the night sky — a short but dense climax. It's a summer day plan unique to Toma Town, letting you enjoy both nature and the town's festival.
