2026 – Kinokawa Hashimoto SUMMER BALL 2026 (紀の川橋本SUMMERBALL2026): A Full One-Day Course
This course centers on Kinokawa Hashimoto SUMMER BALL 2026 (紀の川橋本SUMMERBALL2026), held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, and lets you fully enjoy Hashimoto (橋本), a town on the banks of the Kinokawa River (紀の川), over a full day. At midday, pay your respects at Kamuro Tenmangu Shrine (学文路天満宮), then enjoy the nostalgic townscape at Cafe Katsuragikan (cafe 葛城館), housed in a former Meiji-era inn. In the afternoon, taste local flavors at Michi-no-Eki Kaki no Sato Kudoyama (道の駅 柿の郷くどやま), then relax in the quiet grounds of Ōgi-ji Temple (応其寺), before securing your spot on the riverbed of the Kinokawa River (紀の川) in the evening while having dinner. At 8:00 PM, about 3,000 fireworks launch into the sky over the Kinokawa River (紀の川) — an overwhelming finale that closes out Hashimoto's summer, with large fireworks blossoms overlapping with their reflections on the water's surface.
