2026 32nd Fukaya Fireworks Festival One-Day Full Experience Course
Centered around the 32nd Fukaya Fireworks Festival held on August 2, 2026 (Sunday), this is a one-day course to enjoy the Kawamoto district of Fukaya City, Saitama Prefecture and its surroundings. At noon, stop at Michi-no-Eki Kawamoto to take a break while admiring local vegetables and specialty products, then enjoy a historic walk at Hatakeyama Shigeatsu Historic Park connected to a Kamakura samurai. Next, explore the ancient historic sites at the Kashima Kofun Group, then trace the footsteps of Shibusawa Eiichi, the father of modern Japanese economy, at his birthplace "Nakanoya." In the evening, spread out a leisure sheet near the venue on the Ara River bank to secure a spot. At 7 PM, approximately 4,000 fireworks illuminate the night sky from the wide riverbed of the Ara River for two hours. The fireworks launched against the backdrop of the magnificent Ara River flow have an appeal of abundant openness. A summer day plan unique to Fukaya that greedily combines historic walks and riverside fireworks.
