A one-day course centered on the 32nd Mahoroba Summer Festival Mahoroba Dream Fireworks, held from 7:00 PM to 7:20 PM on August 2, 2026 (Sunday) at Yamato Town Comprehensive Sports Park (Athletics Stadium) in Kurohane District, Miyagi Prefecture. Spend the daytime exercising at the comprehensive park at the venue, then immerse yourself in nature at Nanatsu-mori with its seven gentle mountain peaks. In the afternoon, stroll through the town streets of Yoshioka-shuku, which thrived as a post town along the Oshu Kaido, have an early dinner, then secure a spot at the venue. The short yet spectacular fireworks starting at 7 PM mark the festival's finale. An indulgent one-day plan unique to Yamato Town where you can enjoy satoyama nature, historic townscapes, and fireworks.
