2026 54th Himi Festival Full-Day Experience Course

Experience the 54th Himi Festival (2026年8月1日, Saturday) as the centerpiece of a full-day exploration of Himi, Toyama's charming port town. Start at Ao Castle Ruins overlooking the coastline, then head to Himi Fishery Port Outside Market Himi Bangumi to savor fresh seafood. Visit the Hometown Gallery of manga artist Fujiko A. Fujio, a proud son of Himi, then take a leisurely walk along the Shiokaze Gallery promenade to Himino-e Park. From 3 PM onward, the festival features various attractions. As night falls, the celebration builds to a crescendo with approximately 5,500 fireworks illuminating the Himi night sky through the 9 PM finale.
